My wireframes definitely need to be better prototyped before I start user testing. With this, it means I also have to make sure my screens are up to a good standard before testing and receiving even further feedback.
I’ve decided to rearrange some content, for example the insights which were once on my home screen are now being moved to the reports section of my app. I have decided to redesign how these will look and you can view my process below.
Before my redesign the insights were displayed on my home screen. Although this information is important it broke away and distracted from the key focus of the chart. I wanted the chart to stand out the most and for all the content beneath to relate directly too it. Moving this section to the reports meant that its purpose fitted better there and related to the rest of the content better. The new information which I’ve already redesigned on the home screen does the job I want it to do, which is provide further depth and insight into why the chart looks the way it does.
I love like the number line chart showing what the weight is of the bananas. I could use this to show blood glucose levels.
I like how there is a description of what each report is and means. I could use this to show give a description of what each insight means.
I began sketching out how this should look. I loved the scrolling average glucose design so I kept this throughout. However, what I struggled with was how to present the other data. I couldn’t follow the same design as average glucose as it would be to overloading and confusing to look at, I think the boxes having information in them and being used as an aid to the number and was best.
