My sign up and set up process had an extremely high success rate. The only thing that seemed to be a problem was my close button on the final screen. Users didn’t seem to know where it was and how to end the process through this button, it actually led to one user giving up. I was confused as I thought this was something fairly straight forward however after speaking to my lecturer Kyle he said that the patterned background on this screen could distract from the button making it more difficult to see.
To resolve this issue I am going to make the shapes in my patterned background smaller so they aren’t as similar a size to my button, this will be consistent across all screens with the pattern. I think when I create mockups with colour then the background will look more different also.
